| | These are some of the wonderful gifts my dear friend Arcadia in France http://arcadiascorner.canalblog.com/ sent me for my birthday. There were so many beautiful creations I will have to continue this entry in another blog or two! I was anticipating the arrival of this package (much more than my actual birthday!) and was delighted when it finally arrived. When I opened the first package my eyes widened to the size of lollipops. The box was brimming with colorful crafts in beautiful floral fabrics. The little kit for threads, needles, and other various stitching necessities was an item I requested. The design is inspired by the so-called "toblerones" (named so due to their shape resembling the packaging of a Toblerone chocolate bar). I have often admired the creative concept on French blogs. The toblerone that Arcadia made for me included everything in the picture! The threads, scissors, and fob that doubles as a pin-cushion. I suddenly found myself a very inspired stitcher! The snail is a Tilda design and beautifully sewn. If only all snails were this cute maybe I would not mind them in my garden.
I'm sure by now you can see what a wonderfully creative person Arcadia is. Please check back here later in the week for a second installment complete with many more pictures.
